Delaware River Watershed Projects *There have been two projects in the Philadelphia Area initiated to protect the Delaware River Watershed*
BJs Wholesale Detention Basin Clean-Up PWD partnered with the Friends of the Pennypack Park, Fairmount Park's Natural Lands Restoration Environmental Education Program (NLREEP), and BJ's Wholesale on Saturday, March 23, 2002 to clean up portions of Pennypack Creek and the BJ's stormwater detention basin, which had become a magnet for illegal dumping. Fox Chase Farms Riparian Planting Fox Chase Farms, located in the Fox Chase neighborhood of Philadelphia, was the site of a massive Riparian Planting that took place over two Saturdays in May of this year.
